Black Forest Protein Muffins


Inspired by the flavours of Black Forest Cake, the maraschino cherries and semi-chocolate chips do the trick. This is a guilty free way to enjoy your chocolate "cake!"


  • 1 bag Chocolate Protein Muffin Mix
  • 2/3 cup applesauce
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3/4 cup maraschino cherries (drained and cut in halves)
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Baking Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together.
3. Bake for 15-20 mins. or until toothpick comes out clean.
4. Let cool.
4. (Optional) Add halved cherry on top and for some extra decadence, add some fresh low fat whipped cream!
5. Enjoy!
